This week, I'll be playing in America's Heartland.
Monday, I'm in Houston; Tuesday, Tulsa; Thursday, Rogers,AR; Friday, Menomonee Falls, WI; Saturday, Milwaukee; and Sunday, Madison. One thing I plan on figuring out is why the Midwest is nicknamed the Heartland. It isn't heart-shaped; it may be located close to the center of the country, yet the heart isn't located at the center of the body. On April 18, my brand-new album, Tip Of The Iceberg, officially drops on iTunes, Amazon, and everywhere in between. That morning, I'll be hitting the road, kicking off a 5-week US tour in promotion of the album and my first book, Of Bombs And Blackberries. I'll be touring solo, playing guitar and sometimes electronic instruments, sharing some crazy and poignant stories, and reading select chapters out of my book.
